GS Kelsey have been awarded two “secure by design” gold awards. Projects at Cottage Beck Raod and Westcliff Hub have been highly commended by Humberside police.

As a company,  we continually invest in the communities in which we work and in doing so we have been a contributor to prosperity of Humberside and Lincolnshire.

It is particularly pleasing to work with Ongo on these projects as they’re an organisation that share our beliefs about safeguarding communities and investing in them to bring about social value benefits. This is signified by their requirements for Secured by Design standards in all that they do.

By spending money on good design and security they have improved the longevity of the building and ensured the services offered there will not be disrupted by crime and disorder.

We take pride in all the awards and accolades received . Those that have been awarded relating to community impact and involvement are particularly satisfying. The project stakeholders and teams that partnered to deliver 27nr new homes on Cottage Beck, Scunthorpe deserve huge praise for delivering a Secure by Design Gold Award scheme. At Kelsey’s we constantly strive to ensure that our building works leave a positive impact on the communities in which we work. From beginning to end we always look to collaborate with our clients on initiatives and movements that have lasting change. Secure by Design is one of these and this award recognises achievements to design out crime within the development and to enhance community safety by effective environmental design and ensuring the procurement of enhanced security products where possible.
